Dylan's "Modern Times" won Best Contemporary Folk/Americana Album, according to grammy.com.

Over albums by Roseanne Cash, Jackson Browne, Guy Clark and Mark Knopfler/Emmylou Harris.

Go Bobster!

for best Childrens' album. Been a long time since the Del Fuegos.

Have you noticed how many old punk rockers are doing country & childrens' music? Even Jason (of Jason & the Scorchers) does childrens' music now.

2. I did not know that.
It's an interesting development.

I was not into pop music when punk was "hot" so I am only familiar with The Ramones, The Clash and other well known groups. Kinda sorry I missed the heyday of punk.

6. That's Okay
When punk was happening, pop music was a wasteland. Most people I knew who were into it got there because they had a friend who turned them on.

4. We love Dan Zanes around my house.
My kids have really warmed up to Zanes. At first, they didn't quite get it, but now they really like it and I am glad. I love music that parents and kids can both listen to.
