Sure they have a 'twang' to their sound - but their music goes above what you would typically think of modern country music. I did buy their last album and enjoyed it greatly; even went to see them in concert in Philadelphia and really loved the show too!

BUT just had to make a comment here! Just wanted to thank you for posting this.... my daughter is a HUGH Chicks fan and kept calling me last night with updates as I wasn't watching the Grammys. She was just ecstatic especially since she's had a couple of bumper stickers on her car for some time now saying DIXIE CHICKS For President!

I have one suggestion... we should start sending this WINNING CD to the WH en masse! I'm not going to post this at other forums because as I said I'm really tired of all the piling on of OUR candidates running for President, almost sounds like FREEPER land sometimes. I'm not one who wants to nitpick each and every statement made by each candidate we have running! It's a bit early and it's waaaaaaaaay to UGLY for me! I'll just be reading from time to time and post only once in a while so I will be able to remain a member.
