Woo-hoo!! It's only been a year... :rofl:

Only a few more minor things to do in the bathroom and then I will finally, finally be done in there! Have to put a piece of baseboard in, which you can see in the above picture, and rebuild the cabinet that was under the shelves, but I'm so close! The floor/heating covers took me and my dad the better part of 7 hours yesterday, but at least it's done!

10. It's been a bit challenging lately, to be honest. We had a rough weekend.

just dealing with family stuff, mostly. My mom just had surgery last week for her gall bladder and although it went well, I'm the only one she has to support her, so it falls on my shoulders. It's been a lot of extra time and effort. On top of that, my mentally ill BIL is an on-going challenge. Long story, but suffice it to say, I'm exhausted and a bit burnt out. Plus, I'm getting over the flu. I feel totally out of shape and I'm supposed to be riding in an organized century in a month. I could go on and on...but I won't, don't worry.

That's probably more info than you wanted to know, but there it is. :D

It's gotta be hard when you're the only support and caregiver for your mom. Lots of hugs for both of you. :hug: And yuck to ongoing time and mental energy and sickness. It was built in 1890, so nothing is to code or straight or level or... well, anything. :rofl:

This particular project started as replacing the faucet in the tub, since it was leaking. What we didn't know was that it had been leaking into the wall, too. *sigh* Became a big project that is just now getting finished.

The guy in your sig line? Yeah, that's been us re: the house a few times!

23. I did my bathroom too

and I never laid tile before. Took me all Friday night and part of Saturday. I pulled up the vinyl floor only to discover another vinyl floor below it and below that plywood covered in nasty stick tar! It was a big mess but I got through it and now have a nice new vinyl tile floor and border. I even caulked for the first time.

I'm trying to make my condo "designed to sell' repainting bedrooms now and then all new carpet.

Did you do real tile, with messy bits and everything? :rofl: I feel like I "cheated" with vinyl tile, but it was so easy and it looks really nice! I'm glad you got through all your renovating, and good luck with getting your condo ready to sell!
