question for computer people |
|
hang in there with me - I don't know that I'll explain this with the right words or with much clarity.
okay, I have the tab feature on my windows, which I actually find kinda annoying. but here is something I would like it to do but I don't know if it does - can I open every site that is in one 'favorites' folders at once? example, I have a 'jobs' folder with maybe 25 sites in it. instead of clicking on each one, searching for jobs, closing it, and then trying to remember all the sites I already opened, can I just open them all to begin with and then close them as I'm done?
this is the first step in finding a job, I'm convinced.

do you see an option to "open all in tabs?"
edit: and what browser are you using and on what OS?

those are the right answers, you did well.
I don't own a windows machine, I am on Mac OSX, but perhaps somewhere in the bookmarks folder there is an option to open all in tabs?

will let you do this.
Firefox also had the added bonus of being faster and more secure than Internet Exploder.
www.mozilla.com
it is a free download, will automatically import all your bookmarks and favorites from IE, and wont erase IE if you still want to use it.
