Celebrity Odd Couples or "I just can't picture these two together"
Edited on Mon Feb-12-07 05:55 PM by merh

Evangeline Lilly & Dominic Monaghan

How They Met: The hobbit from 'Lord of the Rings' and the Canadian actress don't share many scenes on 'Lost,' but they apparently sizzled off the screen.
Relationship Status: After Lilly's house in Hawaii burned down, Monaghan was there to support her. They are now reportedly engaged.

that is one of the weirdest.

I also think Cameron and Justin are a weird one. He should be with Lance Bass or some other boy band alumnus.

That latest song of his doesn't do anything for me and it's because he isn't sexy.

7. that one is not weird, it is just ICK
He bugs the hell out of me, there is nothing cute, clever or sexy about him. He is just obnoxious and hateful and mundane.

If I were going to do it with a comic, it would be Robin Williams, I could put up with that hairy body for that mind and all of the laughter.

Spade is just ick and Locklear has given the term "dumb blonde" a whole new meaning.

6. They are listed as on of the "Odd Couples" at that link

See page 10

David Arquette & Courteney Cox

How They Met: The 'Friends' superstar played a hard-nosed reporter in 'Scream,' while the quirky actor was the bumbling deputy. They fell in love on set just like their characters did on screen.
Relationship Status: The couple married in 1999 and had their first child, Coco, in 2004. Their production company created Cox's new series, 'Dirt.'

16. He was devastated when she died
I always feel for those that found their true "mate", no matter how odd they seem together. The most disturbing scene in "Titanic" to me was of the elderly couple, spooned on a bed, awaiting death together. Couplings can be almost primal at times, that's the way I feel about my SO. There are times when we go on animal instinct alone, and there is just no 'splainin' it!

26. Oddly enough, I never considered them an odd couple.
I adored them, they just seemed to fit and loved each other so much.

David Spade is angry and his comedy seems to come from a bitter, nastiness. How could that be endearing?

Mel Brooks was just so endearing, a child like innocence mixed with a wit that walked the edge of risque. Though not the most attractive man that walked the face of the earth, his mind and his humor and his humanity were sexy, imho.

No.8 on the list

Brigitte Nielsen & Flavor Flav

How They Met: The two hit it off on the third season of 'The Surreal Life.' The 6'1" Danish actress enjoyed calling him "Foofy Foofy."
Relationship Status: After 'Life,' the couple starred in a spinoff called 'Strange Love,' but after bickering endlessly, they broke up. Later, Flav sought a new woman on 'Flavor of Love' seasons one and two.

48. I remember something about it from the tabloid shows. From Wikipedia:
While he was still legally married to (Casey) Coates, Danson became romantically involved with Whoopi Goldberg. Danson experienced substantial negative press attention after his appearance at a Friar's Club roast in blackface. Although Goldberg is said to have written the monologue, the negative response from guests, the press and the public has been cited as a reason their relationship ended.
