1. Okay, thanks for the update...
My wife also hates excessively happy people...a coworker of hers, whom she dislikes, is also excessively happy, but its drug induced.

2. My dear wetzelbill.........
I remember a time, long ago, when I was engaged to be married......

I felt all the time as though I had champagne in my veins.........

My girlfriend's roommate hated it, and would leave as soon as I came into their room.....

She thought I was excessively happy.........

3. an excessively happy school nurse called me today
to tell me my sun had been slammed against a brick wall and was "not acting like himself", so I should probably take him to a doctor. I kid you not, she could only speak peppy. It was really hard for me not to just kick her in the shin.

10. oh I'm just making a word play mistake on the Tim Hardaway stuff
you know, "gay" as in "excessively happy."

I am only slightly bitter though.

Edited on Fri Feb-16-07 10:12 AM by Bassic
but I'm not bubbly. Do you actual hate happy people or just those that are really bubbly about it?

Edited on Fri Feb-16-07 10:21 AM by sleebarker
Excessively so, even.

I don't go showing it off or being peppy and bubbly like a cheerleader all the time, though. I am a very introverted and quiet and shy excessively happy person.

11. some of them are high on Jesus.
One woman told me that Jesus had made her really happy.
I wanted to say, "Well then why do you yell at your kids all the time? I never see you say anything positive to them."

However I don't see her anymore and it's just as well.

13. Here In Canada.......
There's a morning news anchor named Valerie Pringle. This woman really gets under my skin because she's always so fucking cheerful and peppy. Think Kelly Ripa on speed. Every time I see her, I just want to drive a nail through her head.

No, I don't like excessively happy people. Especially in the morning.

18. So do I
I have a coworker like that. He whistles all the damn time and admonishes ME "that I should be grateful to have my job". (Despite the fact that my job generally sucks, although it doesn't suck as much as it could, I'll give him that). Drives me nuts.
