I was sitting at home this morning reading some news and I came across an article about Kindasleezy lying in front of Congress. I said, out loud mind you, "This is HUGH!!" (I pronounced it just like it's spelled, like the name, Hugh.) My husband said, "What?!?" I said, "Oops, I meant huge." He said, "No, you said Hugh at first, who's Hugh?" I then had to explain that the whole "This is HUGH!!11!!11" thing and I'm cracking up the whole time and at the end of my explanation, he said, "Oooooookayyyyy..." and went back to playing World of Warcraft. Apparently, it's not as funny when you explain it out loud...or he's lacking a sense of humor.

One of the guys i work with has a great sense of humor but is sort of middle of the road politically. Leans a little more right than left mainly because his wife is a fundy. Anyway, i told him the other week that i opened a "Hugh account".

He wanted to know the last name of this Mr. Hugh cause he had a guy named Hugh as a client!

Now my other half asks for a definition of some of the funny and outrageous comments I have picked up
on this board. Some of the words are self-explanatory, many not. What a group, we are being grammatically responsible. Adding new words to the language is a good thing.
