I know what boys like
I know what guys want
I know what boys like
I've got what boys like

I know what boys like

I see them looking

I make them want me
I like to tease them
They want to touch me
I never let them

I know what boys like

I know what's on their minds

I what what boya like
I know what guys want
They talk about me

I got my cat moves
That so upset them
Zippers and buttons
Fun to frustrate them
They get so angry
Like pouty children
Denied their candy
I laugh right at them

I know what buys like
I know what guys want
I know what boys like,

Na, na, nya, nya, nya, nya..............

I feel sad now
I will let you
Sorry I teased you
I will let you
This time I mean it
I wil1 let you
Anything you want
You can trust me

You can trust me
How would you like it
You can trust me

3. i saw 'the waitresses' at mabel's in champaign back when this song was a hit...
they played it THREE time in their set- they opened with it, plated it once in the middle, and closed with it...

apparently they didn't have a very extensive repertoire at the time.

13. Depends on which week it is
But either way he likes to post inflammatory/nasty stuff about gay people then goes crying to his fan club when gay people (naturally) get irritated at him for doing so.

19. I said my piece a long time ago.
I'm sorry you feel that this post is somehow related. Maybe I'm missing out on something?

And as for my piece and how people responded, I will say I did get some PMs in return by folks defending me and saying they were too afraid to say anything because they'd be flamed to Hades and back too. It seems some people understood my perception... and it's clear you still don't.

17. There is no problem. I just didn't know a bloke wrote it.
Why is it people always think there has to be an underlying context (or even motive :eyes: ) to everything that is said or happens?

24. Could it be...
...because of things that have been said or done in the past? Old timers don't forget things as easily as some might think.

14. A man wrote "Where The Boys Are", too. Are you unfamiliar with pop music?
Good thing Burt Bacharach didn't stop writing masterpieces just because his lyricist was male. :eyes:

25. Straight from the writer's keyboard:
It happens that Chris Butler who wrote that and was the man behind the Waitresses is a friend of mine and naturally I mentioned that he was the subject of some discussion here and he had a look and says:

"please tell them Democrats that:

what's so amazing? that a man can size up The Enemy and articulate a pattern of behavior in song form? also, re: Mabel's...great club/don't remember that 3 times thing at all/we always had plenty of songs/if we DID do it 3 times, it was either a goof, done as sarcasm or done by request. and we would often soundcheck with doing Boys Like as a slow blues...with ME singing it...so, nyah nyah nyah!

cb"

So there you go.
