Apparentely FAUX "News" just started such a thing called The 1/2 Hour News Hour. Based on this little clip, I think it shows that we own them as far as humor goes as well. This is up there with MadTV in the lamness: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjIfaMwIFxU

Talk about a total ripoff too. Even the set looks The Daily Show one.

But I am not.

It relies on mindless ridicule instead of clever irony to produce humor. In other words, it's good for simpletons who need to make fun of what they don't agree with.

sure it has dumb moments, but it's had good ones too. Granted, I have not watched it in years, so... maybe it sucks now or something, but I can't imagine it's as bad as this crap.

I mean, they spent a whole Twenty-Five Dollars to tape three people laughing for four seconds so they could play it after every...well, I THINK they were supposed to be jokes...

Look at the male anchor's expressions as he reads the Barack Obama "jokes." You can tell, even he thinks they suck.

The female anchor? They DID do a makeup test before they shot a real episode, right? You can't see her eyes!

On second thought, maybe it IS that bad.
