Hey you Mardi Gras/Louisiana experts
gonna try my first batch of jambalaya tomorrow, and make some Hurricanes, if I can find passion fruit juice. What else should we try? and what for desert?


Oh and what kind of sausage can I use that won't be sacrilege? I can find bratwurst, italian, polish and smoked beef, various kinds of breakfast and hot dogs. I have never had Andoulie or however it is spelled - have no idea what the flavor or texture is? I read somewhere ham would be good too? This will be shrimp, chicken and whatever you tell me.
