Thank you for your outstanding service. I wish I could make you feel better about being PROMOTED to the real world again. I thought to look for an actual music link to that Sound Of Music title we both love but alas it was not to be. I found one dreadful version by Hammerstein II and Rodgers but I had to pass on it after hearing it. (I confess that I have been jaded tremendously by Julie Andrews voice in the original). While searching I found the lyrics to a parody that may have been fun...after reading them I was about to pass on it as well until I got past the lyrics and into some of Miss Andrews history relating to those lyrics. I had no idea about her tragedy with the surgery.
Such a gift and now it is lost to the world.

I have no problem confessing that I enjoy watching American Idol. I am just "geeky" enough to go over to the official website and request that one of their contestants sing that song. I know that the odds are one in a million and there may be copyright reasons which prevent this from happening but if it could be used then I think it would be a good one.

Saying welcome back to you is a bit strange though...you never really went anywhere. If you had left us for anytime longer than a day or so...well that would have been hard on us indeed. Knowing that you are not watching over us anymore IS a bit...well I am not sure what words to say here but there is a small emptiness there. The fact that you are still here and actively posting in the DU lounge is what counts to me.... I am sure that I speak for all here, you truly WARM the lounge with your presence and we thank you for that warmth.
