Dinty Moore Beef Stew - my God, this shit sucks.
I haven't had it in probably ten years. The local grocer had it on sale a week or so ago, so I bought a few cans for the office in case I found myself working through lunch and needing something quick.

So today I opened one of those babies up, and either their recipe has changed or my taste buds have become more refined, but this shit tastes ... well, practically flavorless and the sauce tastes like it was overcooked and burned or something.

I've even added more salt and pepper, hoping that would pry the taste out of the sonofabitch, but to no avail.

How do people eat this shit? Why do people eat this shit?

It reminds me why I rarely ever eat from a can or a box.

Jesus.

5. If not for the fact that I'm really hungry and don't have time to go elsehwere I'd throw it away.
If memory serves, ten years or so ago it was actually tasteful - in a kind of bland, midwestern way, but still tasteful.

6. In "The Road Warrior," Mel Gibson and his dog eat "Dinky Dog" brand dogfood
In college, after a sampling, we dubbed Dinty Moore stew "Dinky Dog." To this day, when I see it in the store, I think "Dinky Dog." From now on you, too, will make this psychic connection, and it will be a good thing.
