You ever buy a song on iTunes that you already own on CD? |
|
Because the CD was in your car or garage or somewhere you didn't feel like going to get it?
Neither have I...

I once downloaded an album from eMusic that I have on vinyl but I was feeling too lazy to rip it, and I wanted it on CD for my car that morning.

4. Were you on the free trial or did you pay? |
|
And not to hijack my own thread but, that pic in your sig line is pretty freaky. That's the creepiest part of 'The Shining'without the shrub.

7. It was after the free trial ended and I was paying. |
|
Although, I DLed some stuff during my trial that it turned out my housemate had on CD - total waste of free tunes!
To this day I still don't get why that's in "The Shining" save for just sheer WTF value.

2. No but I've bought it when my cd was scratched and wouldn't download into iTunes. |
|
That usually means that it's an album I love and I've played the shit out of it, so I don't mind buying it twice.

9. Yes -- because someone had burned me the CD and the song titles didn't show when I downloaded them. |
|
So I just replaced a few of them.

13. You can add that info in iTunes |
|
I've had several songs like that from CDs others burned. I add the artist and song title in iTunes.

I was just trying to save you some money in case you didn't know it could be done. At first I didn't know either.

Glad I inspired you to check it out again.
It sure beats spending money on something you already have. :hi:

Sometimes the urge strikes when I'm at work or something. I try to think of it like I'm buying a slightly expensive song on a jukebox, but I have something to show for it after it's over.
Last night I had the urge to hear Sonic Youth's "Kool Thing" -- ended up buying the song AND the music video, which is simply tremendous, even though I could get a crappy YouTube version for free.
