The Wednesday Evening "What's for dinner?" thread.
Chile relleno casserole.
Miz t. just finished blistering the poblanos.
Same ingredients, just layered instead of stuffed.
Easier to make and tastes just as good.

How about you?

Homemade.

Although your dinner is sounding pretty good. I think there's a call for some Mexican on the menu this weekend.

10. right, pat dry then slather on the mayo, sprinkle spices
i used salt/pepper, poultry seasoning, garlic powder and next time I'll add a bit of chili powder

roll in bread crumbs and stick it in the oven at about 350-375 for 40-50 minutes depending on the size of the breasts

i did em in the toaster oven and the top browned up in about 30 minutes, so i flipped em over so the under side browned up too

first time i've tried it and it worked very well!

too

sounds like a winner too!

I did a "easy chicken" thread in C&B and got some great ideas, this being one of them

9. Mayo/bread crumbs
One of my favorite ways to prepare unremarkable fish filets (you know, general white fish). But I mix a little Dijon in with the mayo.

Mmmmm.

Pretty rare to find someone who even attempts thai cooking this far north on the glacier.

Hope it's spicy and good.

21. mmmm that sounds good
it would go well with the cheapo but well-marbled chuck steaks we are going to do on the grill. I need to decide on some side dishes - tempted to go with the leftover "jambalaya" from yesterday and some kind of salad. Or not.
