Ok, my house is an insane asylum
My wife is playing with my dog, the dog goes for her ball, instead gets my wifes upper arm, so my wife is crying, the dog feels guilty and runs to her cage, the kids are running around screaming that mommy is crying.

Half an hour later, my 10 year old daughter comes to me crying with a large comb stuck in her hair, and I mean stuck! She has a lot of hair and for some reason she thought she would try to twist it. It was so stuck, I had to get some tools and cut it out, little by little, piece by piece, but at least we saved (most) of her hair.

Damn, I need some peace and quiet. :D

1. Oh dear Fuzz. I'd like you to consider the following adage and take heart!
Edited on Wed Feb-21-07 06:38 PM by Radio_Lady
"Life begins when the children are married and the dog is dead."

It began for us in about 1980.

I hope it comes soon for you.

Meanwhile, here is a picture of my husband, taken by me on Mother's Day in the 1970s. We had five kids from two previous marriages when we got together. I think we've been through about every crisis, including gum in the hair, falling out of trees, dog bites, kid wrecked our car and had the body work done before we came home from vacation, and I don't want to remember any more!

In peace,

Radio Lady in Oregon

3. ROFL poor fuzz
we put in those new 'laminate flooring' put in and it's really just slippery plastic crap

my three dogs fall, slide, slip and whoosh across those floors all the time, usually hitting my foot with a sharp toenail in the process

thank heaven i don't have kids too........

4. Oh yeah,
my oldest did that with the comb.

She wrapped it around and around a big strand of her long silky hair.

I could not get it out, so it cut it out. What a mess.
