Would you shave your head for a drug test?
Has anyone here ever or would ever shave their head if they knew they were getting drug tested?

Britney shaved her head because KFed threatened to drug test her in the divorce. He's not that dumb after all, or maybe he's been drug tested too many times.

I've heard Golden Seal works, but i've never tried it or was desparate enough to.

1. Interesting theory...
Not that I've thought about it much.

I had assumed she was trying to grow it back thicker...

But, considering the rehab what you say makes sense.

6. not a theory
http://extratv.warnerbros.com/2007/02/the_real_reason_britney_shaved.html

i found this on drudge - it makes perfect logical sense for her to do this. Even though it makes her look guilty, which she is, it explains why she chose to rush to shave her head.

Urine test is only good for 30 days, but a hair test would be months or whenever the last hair cut was.

11. Well she did ruin her hair by dying it every other day!
That really weakens the hair and can make it fall out, but the drug theory is very interesting with a custody battle ensuing and everything!!

2. They can take hair from anywhere.
Unless Britney shaved all of her body hair (eyebrows?), she can still be tested.

Golden Seal wouldn't get rid of drug evidence in the hair -- it'll just mask in the urine, if I understand it correctly.

33. Of course they can but
a hair test shows months of drug use and hence, a pattern of behavior.

If she gets tatoos, the blood will become infected and unreliable - thats why she's getting all the tattoos as well.

4. I think that this is referencing the hair test drug test
I dont know of anyone that does it with a hair test. Some hair dyes and shampoos can even throw off the result. Most people just have you pee in a cup.

20. I know of a factory that does it that way.
The same company that recently recalled peanut butter makes their employees at one factory (that I know of) offer hair as a preemployment drug screen.

And it's not rumor-they did it to me, they did it to a friend's son and a few others I know.

IMO, urine should be enough.

5. If she did shave her head...
in order to avoid a drug test, that's probably not going to look to good for the court.

"Golden Seal" type things are for urine tests, if they work at all.

One traces of drugs are in the hair, they're there for good.

Besides, I'd suspect somebody saved her hair.

7. cut
since the hair is cut, its been compromised and won't be admissible.

I heard getting a tattoo will also nullify a drug test. Ink up britney!

8. She did!!
Holy crap, is that what the visit to the tatoo parlor was about? It had to be. She's hooked on coke. Man. She's gonna lose her kids and they'll end up with pimp-daddy in the end. They'll be like the baby selling crack in Dave Chappelle's stand-up bit.

12. That's exactly what she wants.
Look at her history; the last thing she wants is parental responsibility.

Which is a good thing. Her children would be real messes due to a sick environment they had to live in. And most of that sickness is Britney; may she get help and that includes the media vanishing for a while as well.

16. I don't think that is true at all. I think she adores her children, but
after having 2 back to back, post-partum depression is a huge possible factor not to mention her pending divorce. She is in a bad place right now and I think with the proper help (that she needs), she will be much better suited to be parent to those 2 babies!

15. At this point, unless she gets the help I think she desperately needs,
he seems the better parent. She is in trouble right now, and I really do hope, for her and her kids, that she gets help. For more than a day too.

17. I don't think either is better
He's into dope I think, either way both parents are addicts. He's most probably into coke too, if not to the extent that she is right now. Were I her mom I would ask to be granted custody. If he wants it he should have to take drug tests too because there is no way in hell he is clean, I'd bet money on it.

19. Well, I think that is all speculation.
I don't know what he is on if anything. By her recent behavior, we can at least guess that she is going through something major! His ex says he is a fantastic father to her 2 kids.

22. I was just going by the fact that the reason
she filed for divorce was supposedly because of his drug use, having dealers show up at the end of the driveway, his being high around the kids, etc. That was the word going around when they separated. Amazing how the tables have turned. That's interesting what Shar says, I wonder how often he sees those kids, the ones whose mother he left when she was pregnant with the second one so he could marry La Spears. I'm not all too impressed with him.

after all that Shar has gone through with him, she stands by his parenting. I hope Britney gets help and can be the mom she could be.

31. I do too
I really, really do not want to see her lose those kids. Because I know that that is the last thing that she wants and that is one thing she will not be able to live with if it happens. I don't think Kfed is up to it. I think the maternal grandmother should get them, and now. What a mess...it's such a shame. Poor kid. It seems like I am going through this thing lately of seeing just how what people deem to be assets on the outside like money or beauty or charisma or whatever can really be so harmful to people and contribute to their destruction and cause them to not be able to cope with real life like more ordinary people can. The older I get the more grateful I am for what I have and the less I envy just about anybody anything.

She so does coke.

I think kfed is too broke to do coke. maybe the weezy.

32. I wondered if they specifically wanted hair to test if she was doing drugs while pregnant
I don't know if they can indicate a time line with the hair testing but if they can show that she used while pregnant that wouldn't bode well at all.

PS: is she out of rehab yet?
