Cat flushing toilet, running up water bill! News at 11!

21. My Watson (RIP, boy.) was able to open doors with lever handles,
so he probably could have learned to flush. We have to separate one cat every night, and Watson used to set her free during the night, which forced us to lock the door. I had to pick the lock every morning to get into the room.

We used to have a desk phone on the night stand in our bedroom that had a peculiar ring that apparently bothered Alex. He used to take the phone off the cradle and set it on the nightstand if we didn't answer it quickly enough. One time my friend called and left a message, "Hi No Surrender, I think Alex must have answered again, because someone picked up the phone, but didn't say anything." Too bad Alex never learned how to say "Meow" after answering.
