So cold medicines don't require ID anymore but Trimspa does?! |
|
Shock it to me, man. I go to buy my cold medicine and saw Trimspa was on clearance. I know it doesn't work for me but I wanted to know the price.
At checkout, I am surprised they don't need my ID for the cold medicine. (Ear infection time, hot damn!)
I am doubly surprised that, in order just to get the price on Trimspa, they need my ID. So I whip out my big billfold and give them my license.
Trimspa is $8.50.
Why do the feds want to know? Or even care? One can't make crystal meth out of it. Hell, it's impossible to make crystal light out of it too. x(
Sigh...

It said something like "Pseudoephedrine free". I had no idea cold drugs contained ephedrine.

3. Since it doesn't have Pseudoephedrine, you don't have to register to buy it. |
|
TrimSpa is shit. Apparently the FDA has fined them for false advertising or something. Duckie

Thx for the info on trimspa too. (I don't use it anymore - it never exactly worked in the first place... but $8.50 is a steal for such a product... well, less of a steal than $21.95...)

8. Impossible. That stuff contains real sugar. Sugar gets stored AS fat. Oops... |
|
And, quite honestly, I doubt she used trimspa in order to be a spokesperson for it. She was probably on some other drug; likely not a legal one either...

7. That's why you didn't need I.D. |
|
The key ingredient that gets limited and I.D.'d is pseudoephedrine. It's a common decongestant (regular Sudafed is psedoephedrine; the Sudafed P.E. became popular with the recent laws surrounding the sale of pseudoephedrine).

We'll see if PE works, or if it's nothing more than PEE in a pill.
