8. I was actually thinking of starting such a thread today

I am thankful because: I have been warm and toasty all day and the furnace has barely turned on. It is 10 below in Maine right now, with a windchill of probably 35 to 45 below and I have two wood stoves blazing, three cords of beautifully seasoned wood outside and a full tank of oil! WooHoo!
