Well, SHITE! While in Boston I took a good look around. That city is FULL of beautiful men. How is it that none of them have migrated north?

Yeah yeah yeah, beauty is only skin deep. Pfffft!

When I wrote this post though, I forgot about mainegreen. He's not in Bangor but he's in Maine and he, his wife and baby are very beautiful people.

11. No they're not. Okay, a lot of them are
but I lived there for three years. I couldn't believe my good fortune when I arrived in the city from Oregon. The west coast is all blondes; the east is much darker which I love. I'm not simple and shallow or anything, jb.

4. The best looking guy I have ever seen was in Freeport, ME
Aside from my own, SO, that is. But this guy worked as a handyman or something at the Hampton Inn and was just the epitome of rugged New England good looks. And he was nice too. Although that may have been pity for the idiot (me) who didn't realize the coffeemaker was one of those one-cup-at-a-time types that have no pot.

14. Seriously? Up here it is so rare to see a truly fine looking male.
In fact I was grocery shopping with the STBE about a week ago. He was in the produce section and I had moved on to cereal and coffee. Suddenly he appeared and demanded that I go visit apples and oranges because there was "actually a handsome man over there." It's so freaking rare that even he notices.

18. Oh, yes, seriously
They sent him to my room after I called about no coffee pot. Needless to say, I was still in my pajamas and robe, hair sticking up everywhere, had my glasses on and no makeup. And here is this HUNK offering to show me how to work the coffeemaker. How embarrassing a) to be that stupid and b) to look that awful.

I searched for him in the lobby after I was showered, dressed, and look reasonably human. Only so he could see that I'm not a hellhag all the time (I am happy in my relationship). But, of course, he was nowhere in sight.

I still wonder why they didn't just tell me that the coffeemaker was single cup only instead of sending Adonis. Maybe it's on purpose, to make up for their high prices.

Anyway, go hang out in the lobby of the Hampton Inn in Freeport. Or get a room and tell them you have no coffe pot.

41. Believing is half the battle!
:hi:

Most important, be specific, envision yourself already HAVING what you want and how happy you are, and then let it go--release it to the universe (hard not to dwell on it, but give it your best shot).

Funny story--I had a "crush" on a very cool TV character (I know, I know!) and I would always say "I want to find MY (character name)!" Guess what DH's name is?! (But he really isn't much like the character--and that's a good thing--I believe the character had commitment issues! :D )

70. Well, having lived in Maine for awhile, I'd have to agreed somewhat.
However, if you've ever been to the independent video store in Portland, you might change your mind. But then, that's Portland, which is closer to Boston than Bangor is.

My friend Jess, who lives in Portland, resorted to computer dating and met some really cool guys from Maine. A few I'd even consider, tho they were not "dark and broody" enough for me.
