Just watched "S.W.A.T." and Denzel's "Out Of Time" on DVD
While I like Sam Jackson and Colin Farrell, S.W.A.T. was pretty bad. Even worse, the ultra-cute Ashley Scott ("The Huntress" on the short-lived Birds of Prey TV series) was teased in the trailer, but is only in the movie for a minute, tops. There is a pretty funny gag reel included though, featuring Colin Farrell in a weight room doing "20 oz. curls" and smoking a cigarette.

Out Of Time was so much better, a smart, sexy, noir set in Miami (which sounds like a dichotomy, but works). If you're one of the few people who saw Denzel in Devil In A Blue Dress, this movie has Denzel reteaming with the same director, Carl Franklin, who's one of my favorites.

1. Swat stunk.
Thought the plot sounded cool but it only lasted for exactly the same amount of time as what was in the commercial.
