Why Are You Going To Live Longer than |
|
those you know who smoke and drink and don't eat right?
I've smoked cigarettes, done innumerous types of drugs, drank alcohol until I'm peein' vodka, driven like a maniac at times, said things to people that could have caused them to put a bullet in my brain, walked across the country and been in places at times that most wouldn't even be able to imagine, and
am still alive.
My brother, who lived the clean life, on the other hand, is dying.
I don't want to be told what to do, when to do it, how to do it, or why to not do it.
Maybe I'm just being unreasonable, but I think currently that genetics trumps political correctness.
Am I wrong?
Look at your own family; not at what you are told by others.
I was told my son, due to having had to put up with second hand smoke, would have 10% less lung capacity.
I say bullshit.
We are all going to live only as long as we are, and.
enjoy. Peace.

3. I only put this out there because |
|
some would have been disappointed if I didn't!
I have a reputation for ignorance that cannot be ignored!
Don't take this post seriously, please.

4. Genetics plays a big part. So does environment. |
|
The two play off eachother in complex and unpredictable ways.
None of us lead a clean life: we aren't allowed to. Every breath of air, every mouth of food, every sip of water is aswirl with synthetic chemicals. Of the 100,000 in use, only 15,000 have ever been tested for toxicity, and only a handful for longterm effects.
Drugs, booze, dangerous situations: those are only obvious risks. Just being alive in the industrialized world is the biggest single risk we face. Of course, the alternative is to be alive in the non-industrialized world, where many don't live long enough to be poisoned by their environment.
