1. Well, I don't know how low-fat this is, but my fave:
chicken tikka masala, a side of jasmine rice and lots and lots of yummy hot freshly baked naan.

ooooooh...now I'm hungry....

19. Tandoori chicken is the lowest in fat...
since Indians don't usually cook with the skin on. Mostly everything else has ghi in it, which is super clarified butter, and thus FATTY. But oh how I love it.

Go for the tandoor. But if you don't give a shit, get the chicken tikka masala! :9

32. GOPisevil, next time you come to Chicago, check out Devon west of Western.
Edited on Thu Mar-01-07 11:12 AM by grace0418
Moti Mahal in Wrigleyville pales in comparison. Tiffin, Viceroy of India (used to suck, now it's awesome), Indian Garden, Hema's Kitchen and, for southern Indian yumminess, Udupi Palace.

If you aren't around Devon though, an EXCELLENT place is Essence of India on Lincoln and Wilson. I go there because it's so close to my house, however I'm happy to report the food is fantastic.

28. very funny
my favorite brew pub does have buffalo burgers.
actually, i'm sure there is a place around here somewhere where you could get indigenous american food. my neighborhood was recently found to be the most ethnically diverse in the WORLD. the neighborhood a little south of here has a large native american population.

Indians make the best vegetarian dishes in the world. If you want low fat, there's no good reason not to get something veggie.

33. Is there such a thing as low fat Indian food?
Edited on Thu Mar-01-07 11:30 AM by TheBaldyMan
If no seed means no flour - I'm at a loss.

Personally I'd recommend

starter
assorted pakora

main course
Jalfrezi with pilau rice and a Naan bread

afters
sherbet/ice cream/sorbet
coffee

on edit: get some Cobra beer if you can.
