1. Heard a DJ do a show on him tonight
Said he died of a 32-pound impacted fece (fece?). Also said his biggest turn-on was making love to women's hair. "Well, who doesn't like that?" And that his son said it best when he said, "Elvis couldn't poop and died."

Of all the ways to go....

2. Now thats an interesting tribute for his birthday.
His son? Never heard of him. And th 32 pounder.... sounds a tad specious. Ah such class on the radio airwaves these days.

3. Agreed.
I can think of so many other things to say about Elvis.

Ranks right up there with Dennis Miller speaking of being compared to Lenny Bruce by saying something about "dying in in your own vomit" not being someone he wanted to be associated with.

*scowl*

4. Dennis Miller
could only imagine one day having the stature (or place in history) that Bruce had by the time of his early departure.

5. Well, I actually like Dennis.
He's been an idiot lately though.

7. in terms of long-term impact
Dennis won't compare to Lenny Bruce. But then few will. Of course part of his overall impact has to do with the context of the times. Btw, I enjoyed Dennis when he was a regular on SNL. He was okay in some of his movie roles.

6. The DJs son, that is
I didn't mean to dump on Elvis. I like his stuff. But it's hard to get past that ignominious death.
