Awesome!

The full movie from the late 60s was unearthed in the bottom of a garbage bag in the Who's vault.

Taj Mahal, The Who and the Stones.

Had "The Dirty Mac" - John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Mitch Michell and Keith Richards performing "Yer Blues" ("I'm so lonely - want to die") into a blues jam and then Yoko comes out and does her Japanese wailing over the thing.

If you get a feeling for Japanese culture, you can make sense of what she was juxtaposing over the Western R&B - her tonality was very traditional Japanese (wasn't just screaming).

The Stones did Sympathy for the Devil, You can't always get what you want, No expectations, and finally the whole group with the audience sings Salt of the Earth.

Brian Jones was still alive then and I appreciated finally seeing the musical parts he played.

This film is a brick of solid platinum for any 60s rock fan.

1. The Rolling Stones are great in their performance...
I was also impressed with Jesse Ed Davis' guitarplaying with Taj Mahal

3. Stellar session guitarist who also put out solo releases...
unfortunately, he died 10 years or so ago.
Have heard that there is a documentary in the works.

4. Damn, missed it
I love Marianne Faithfull singing Something Better on that. That clip was up on YouTube but got pulled a few weeks ago.
