and I mean no disrespect to anybody with it, but since it's my impression that Steven Spielberg had a large hand in the script:
Why would a religiously-semi-active Jewish person want to tell the Christ story? (I mean I can see it possibly as view of Jesus as prophet but certainly not the last three plot points, which sell Jesus as the Messiah.)
