The Oxygen channel made "The Robber Bride" into a movie |

I read the book years ago, and happened to catch the movie last night. It was pretty good.

They did a great job with the characters, I thought. I'm sure it will be re-played.
It made me remember why I loved the book so much. Margaret Atwood is a superb storyteller.

I love Margaret Atwood too . "A Handmaids Tale " scared the SH## out of me . Back a couple of years ago we had a long discussion of it right here on DU
We used to discuss books in depth:hi:

4. I finally read it last summer |

:scared: I'm still shivering. I rented the movie a few months ago, and that scared the bejesus out of me, too. Robert Duvall played the 'Commander' and Faye Dunaway played Serena Joy. The sex scenes were surreal. It left a pit in my gut.
Margaret Atwood really knows how to create very frightening characters.
