Time for an update. I sent them to their garden, where they will live out their lives, hopefully giving some enjoyment. 3. Do you break off the base of the peat pot when you plant them? |

Just curious. With smaller seeded plants I found that was helpful but I'm guess that with something as big as a sunflower seed it probably has no trouble working its roots through the peat.
Time to plant mine!

I am so sorry I missed your post till now...
But.....these pictures are just wonderful!
Isn't it amazing how those tiny little sprouts will grow into plants 12 feet tall?
I'm totally happy to see them coming up so strongly!
