Canadian DUers: How much Cnadian Tire money do you have? |
|
And, more importantly, are you planning on using it on unsuspecting vendors in the US?
Me, I have $4.35 in CTM, and yes, maybe.

And no I don't plan to use it. That is the most annoying stuff on the planer...they should do the safeway thing where you swipe a card. It beats have all that money in you glove baox.

4. Someone in Ontario stole about $100,000 of it when I was a kid... |
|
They would have gotten away with it (not because of meddling kids) if they'd been careful with their spending, but CT and the police were on the lookout for big-ticket spenders right after the burglary, and wouldn't you know it, the dumb-ass theives spent $15,000 in one store three days later. Of course, the rest of it was in their truck outside.

5. You can donate it to charity, you know... |
|
any registered Canadian charity accepts CTM. They can redeem it for cash or use it in the store.

I don't have it in front of me, but I must have around $5 or so. Needless to say, I never have it with me when I visit CT.
Fortunately, the good video rental place in town accepts CTM. This weekend I'm going to rent a Godard film with Canadian Tire money! Wotta hoot!

I have heard of some bars on the Prairies which accept it as cash, too. Video rentals would be great--we could use the CTM to pay of the late charges we constantly incur.
