6. Despite having become part of the caricature
of the sensitive, introspective singer-songwriter that is a beautiful song. I was invited to sit in with a friend a few nights ago at a show. He played that one. I had never really played it on piano before, but it was heart-stoppingly gorgeous.

7. Did you see the tribute on PBS to James Taylor?
It was brilliant, except for Sheryl Crow, who didn't know the song she was singing and had to use the prompter.

Bonnie Raitt on the other hand, just rocked.

And Livingston got up and sang as well.

James Taylor is an excellent musician and brilliant song writer.
