And fell on my left side. Hard. Not sure if I broke ribs or just tore something, but I hurt. Damn. I am traveling on business and have a jacuzzi room, am hoping it will help. Does taping ribs really help?

1. There's really nothing you can do if...
you have a broken rib. It is not like they will put a "cast" on your torso. Just be careful and get yourself checked before you go anywhere. Is your breathing ok?

2. yes.
It is just hard doing the simplest things. I'm thinking the plane ride will suck. But then that is pretty much a given anyway. I will have a great time anyway but what lousy timing, ya know?

3. I know...
Make sure you see a doc before you go! He/She can prescribe you with sleeping aid or stronger pain killers for the long flight!! That would help greatly. Long flights are uncomfortable as it is, ask for pain killers or drink lots of wine in the plane.

I hope you recover soon!! Just place an ice pack in the area 20 minutes at the time at least three times a day to avoid inflammation. And rest! Breathing will make the recovery slow (imagine bones trying to heal when they are constantly moving during the breathing process). Good luck!!

4. Glad to hear about Paris, sorry about the fall!
Where are you staying?

We'll be there at Easter for our 20th.

5. A friend is there in an apartment.
She is studying at the Sorbonne for a year. I don't even have the address yet, waiting for an email.
