5. Los Angeles is having a heat wave. It was 92 yesterday in my part of town.
Edited on Tue Mar-13-07 10:00 PM by Kerrytravelers
We're running the AC and wearing shorts!

Downtown LA has had only 20% of it's normal rain fall. This is the driest winter ever.

But, there is no climate crisis. Oh, no. :eyes:

Edited to add:

My poor kitty. He was all nice and comfortable in his winter coat and this heat wave is making him so hot and uncomfortable. We're giving him extra water and trying to cool him down with ice cubes. He appreciates the effort.

7. What part of LA are you in, KT?
I lived on the west side (UCLA) and Santa Monica in the 70's, with a short stint in the Valley (northridge) in 79-80.

12. We're in the San Gabriel Valley.
At 9:30 PM, all our apartment neighbors have their balcony doors opened and are trying to cool off. The building AC is on the mend after being overused earlier this weekend.

Did I mention it's uncharacteristically hot here?

10. Good luck!
I used to live near Hobby. Every time it rained an inch, it flooded a foot.
