Guinness and Tullamore Dew...
The perfect St Patricks Day combo.

It almost makes me feel Irish. :toast:

1. I've decided that Tullamore is a BIT too mild, and Bushmills a bit too harsh
...but Jimmy Jamesons's is JUST right.

BTW, I hope that's the pure brewed Extra Stout -- none of that nitro-charged, thin 'draught' for the Guinness?

2. Jameson's goes down a little smoother,
but I like the flavor of the Dew...
And, sorry to disappoint, it's the widget cans we've been consuming. They taste more like the tap! :toast:

3. Well, they say, "Every (wo)man deserves his(/her) dew"
But Jesus, Joseph and Mary and the donkey they rode in on -- the widget cans??

An American, a German and an Irishman walk into a bar on St. Patrick's day.

The American says, "In honor of St. Patrick's day, I'll order a Budweiser." The German says, "In honor of St. Patrick's day, I'll order a Beck's." The Irishman says, "I'll have a Coke."

The American turns to him and says, "I can't believe you didn't order a Guinness for St. Patrick's day!" The Irishman responds, "Well, since you guys weren't drinking, I figured I shouldn't have one either..."

4. Well, if I could afford a keg...
There just isn't any other way for us to celebrate, short of hiring a sitter and paying for a cab. Maybe when the kids aregrown. :toast:

6. with an Irish dinner party
complete with corned beef, boiled potatoes, cabbage, carrots, home made soda bread, a selection of irish cheeses and capped off with Bass ale, Smithwicks, Guinness, Bushmills and another Irish ale called Wexford(it's more of a deep amber ale and a widget in the can so it is creamy & smooth)

My kids were in the city doing a pub crawl.

18. I'm not sure if Castle Wine still exists...
My mom used to talk about it all the time; but hasn't in a number of years. Do you remember where it was in Beltsville?

19. It's either off Hwy 197 or 198
Between Hwy 1 and BW Parkway. I know it was there 5 years ago...

21. I'll bet you mean Corridor wine...
Al most to the inetersection of 198 and the Parkway. It's a large place, and has a nice selection of spirits and wine. Their beer collection was pretty dull the last time I went, though. I'll give them a try. I haven't been there in a few years, so they may have changed...

Also, I know the Total Beverage outlets in VA carry it too - that's where I got it first.
