Damn, this is a fine pot of coffee I made today.
Being the wonderfully nice guy that I am, I usually make the coffee here at work. And it's always good, if I do say so myself. But this morning I really outdid myself.

Yay, me.

This coffee snob needs some arabica dark roast!

5. Some thoughts on my coffee this morning:
1) I really don't know what I did before I got the french press. If I get lazy and go out for my morning jolt instead of making my own, the coffee I get, even at a good place, seems bland, and lacking in the character of pressed.

2) I don't think Splenda is so good a sugar substitute, but maybe I don't have my proportions down yet.

3) Last night, I used my coffee grinder to grind down a couple of cinnamon sticks for a banana bread I was making, and didn't clean it (the grinder) out before I made coffee this morning, in the hopes that my coffee would have cinnamon-y notes to it. It doesn't.

That is all. :patriot:

6. it takes a lot of cinnamon to get the flavor in your coffee
you're better off just sprinking powdered cinnamon into your coffee cup.
