Why isn't there a DU Theater group? |
|
There's a film group, a television group, hell, there are 2 book forums. But no DU Theater group.
Odd. Maybe I'm the only one who wonders about that. Probably.
Hmmmm.

They have theater here. And it would be sort of nice to talk to others interested in theater (all kinds...drama, musicals, local, Broadway, Off-Broadway, etc).
Just wondered about that.

7. Here in NY, it's either Disney or revivals. |
|
I was watching the PBS documentary last weekend about the history of theater and many of the actors were lamenting the fact that there's no new material for there to be revived years from now. Kind of sad.

8. Disney or stage versions of films. |
|
And the fact that it's so damned expensive to stage musicals today. Audiences expect big, outlandish multi-million dollar productions these days.
