11. Mebbe You Can Get Some Pain Pills?
go for hydrocodone, then your cramps won't matter so much.

trying to make light of your situation isn't helping...

12. No, go to the dentist
and have them use gas. You'll get relief for a while at least.

5. they don't call it the curse for nothing
Sorry you're feeling rotten. I second the heating pad suggestion. Heating pad, fetal position in a dark room. Back in the day I used to take an occasional partial Valium for cramps and I have to tell you that nothing works better than that. Unfortunately, getting a Valium from the doctor is pretty damned hard to do these days.

18. Couple of remedies that worked for me
1. orgasm

but if that is unavailable,

2. a back massage

3. hot shower with the water directed to the small of the back and the abdomen

When you're feeling better, go to your ob-gyn and be examined for possible endometreosis. That causes monster cramps.

19. the hot shower will be happening shortly, as for the other thing---naughty!
i had fibroids removed 3 times before i got pregnant and i just got checked a few months when i had a pap smear and everything came out clear but i do have a tipped uterus so i wonder if that contributes at all to bad cramping?

24. not immediate, but helps over time
This won't help immediately, but if you get cramps regularly, try using progesterone cream daily during the last half of your cycle (after you ovulate, and until your period starts). I never had cramps until I got older, but this really helps me.

Thanks for letting me bitch moan and groan all. love ya all.

32. Alleve. Take 2 to start
and then 1 more every 4 to 6 hours. Don't do this simultaneously with Advil or any other pain reliever.

Sometimes Advil just doesn't do the trick for me.
