Do long fingernails on women bother you? I find that long fingernails (more than medium length) bother me no matter what gender the person is, really.

One of the side effects of my painkillers is that I often itch instead of hurt. I've gotten into the habit of letting that one fingernail on each hand get a little bit longer so I can scratch. I didn't realize that was supposed to mean anything.

16. I asked a guy I knew in passing why he grew his pinky nail long... |
|
I knew why, but I wanted to hear him say it. but get this, this was his excuse...
"well, you know I'm greek and greeks grow the pinky nail long because when they get into a fight, they bite it off to show they are pissed." I couldn't believe he said that with a straight face. However, I laughed in his. He great bright red and got angry. so then I said, "well, bite it off". He walked away and never spoke to me again. LOL

20. Nope, I said more likely :) - However, the fact that someone decides to have |

29. I think the vision some of us on this thread |
|
have is one of a guy with nails badly in need of trimming and a lot of dark crud. We've all seen this somewhere along the line.
I'm not talking about the unfortunate homeless guy that has nail trimming listed below a hundred other pressing needs. And I don't mean a guy who has long nails as part of his "style". I'm talking about the guy who's just plain lazy and uninterested in hygiene and personal appearance.
Whatever the case, If I was a woman, the thought of some guy with long dirty fingernails pawing my body would make me shiver and gag. Just the thought.

and emotional as knee jerk. Sometimes we have to fight against those knee jerk things. For me, however, the long nails issue was reinforced by a negative experience as well. I'm sure if the person had turned out to be a great guy I would have eventually moved past the emotional reaction.

Long fingernails on a lady can be extremely sexy, IMO.
The same is definitely not true for long nails on a guy. It's a feminine quality, and is only attractive on women.
It's pretty uncommon to find nowadays, as most women seem to like short nails, just like more women prefer shorter hair now than used to.
