But after the Snickers ad campaign for the Super Bowl (and the related fallout in the GD forum), a few people said some hurtful and ignorant things that are just unforgivable in my opinion. They are now on my ignore list because I believe they have nothing to say that I would want to hear.

And I really don't miss them, to be honest. :)

Subjective weighting sucks, for one thing. If you put someone on ignore then someone else says something offensive or disagreeable in another forum or regarding another topic, then do you start comparing it to the other offender, constantly making decisions on ignore? That would drive me batty.

I can think of only two or three DUers who I've been annoyed with on a given topic or two, but hardly ignore material and they unquestionably contribute otherwise.

But I'd love to wager I'm on plenty of ignore lists, especially people who somehow deny that baseball sucks and cheese is worse. :rofl:

I honestly don't remember why the first one on my list is there, but there has to be a reason.
