2. Buy a better pair of ear buds... |
|
seriously...the buds that come stock with most Mp3 players are awful and uncomfortable. You should be able to find a nicer pair with foam or silicone padding that also produces better sound for like 20 bucks

4. I had a terrible time trying to use the ones that came with it... |

I had to cram them in my ears. One night I fell asleep with them in and my ears were raw for a week. I know this sounds nuts, but I threw down $40 for a good set of Sony ear buds with a very soft cushion material that sort of conforms to your ear and holds it in. They have terrific sound too. They even came with three sizes of ear pieces so you can use the one that works best for you...I'll see if I can find them online...
Well, they seem to come in different packages, but the ones I bought were from best buy. In a black package with the rest of the ipod accesories. model# MDR-EX51LP.

9. I just bought headphones |
|
Yup, put away the earbuds and bought a nice clunky pair of headphones that work great but totally lack the cool you get with those earbuds.

10. I bought little foam pads that fit over the buds, and that helped a lot. |
|
I found them at the Apple Store.

11. The buds themselves were way too big for me. |
|
Maybe I just have tiny ears, but they actually hurt when I tried to wear them.

13. Yes, my ears just didnt seem to be made for them. They literally popped out if I didnt cram them in. |

12. I have problems with ear buds too |
|
The ones that came with my Iriver are Sennheisers, pretty good ear buds but I can't keep them in my ears. So I have bought any number of other headphones. Some cheapos which sounded terrible to som3 $30 Sonys that I like quite a bit. I have an Ipod Shuffle now and I don't think those ear buds are going to give me as much trouble, although I have really used them.
