I don't think I've ever heard anything that loud in my life. It must have been flying low with its afterburner on.
It sounded like the military jets I've seen go by, but it was a lot closer than any of those. I didn't get a sight of it before it flew away, but wowee it was an impressive sound!

We get those passing overhead occasionally and I DESPISE it. They make the windows literally rattle in their frames. :grr:

I live in the Memphis area. It happened twice this afternoon. It was a pair of them. It was so loud the house rumbled. I wondered if they were gearing up for an airshow, but it isn't until September.
