19. Powers Boothe creeped me out the first time I saw him in
something when I was a kid and he still creeps me out.

What the hell is the logic behind Wayne Palmer's thinking? I was almost happy with the show last night until THAT happened.

21. My guess is he knows that Fayed isn't going to spill information
so he's going for a little blackmail with the intention to destruct the missle if he gets the information he wants from the Middle East ambassador.

At least that appeared to be the context given the previews for next week.

Of course, who knows what will happen next week as I'm not sure anyone anticipated Gredenko turning against Fayed in the manner he did.

4. I'm so jealous
I didn't get to watch my show (CSI) because of that stupid basketball thing. And I missed CSI on Thursday as well because of the basketball thing. I may just hang out here in this thread and bask in the glory of people who actually get to watch their shows and talk about them.

On a positive note I think the basketball thing might be about over. :hi:

9. I know
I want the deluxe cable so I can watch "The First 48". I would watch crime shows around the clock if I could. I don't know why I never got into 24, maybe I should being that it actually comes on when it's supposed to.

12. ROFL!

It's a DVD service where, for a flat monthly fee, they'll mail you DVDs, then you send them back whenever you want, with no late fees. They have a lot of TV shows on there as well.

13. awesome
I need to check that out, that's cool they have tv shows...I don't understand why I can't watch the tv shows I want on my computer, just like watching youtube videos. The technology is there, so I wonder why it isn't possible when there is a sports orgy on my channel to just pull up CSI on my computer. (Waaah, lol).

This netflix thing sounds promising, thanks for the heads up. Good thing it is a flat fee, otherwise I might do serious damage to my checkbook. :hi:

thanks for that great link! :hi:

I Know this is the wave of the future; I mean, I can watch figure skating competitions on Chinese tv (CCTV) but I can't watch CSI? I think they just hold back progress til they can figure out how to milk it for money. :)

6. Two mind fuck twists right at the end
Edited on Mon Apr-02-07 09:15 PM by Mike Daniels
Gredenko turning on Fayed in the bar when I think most people saw Fayed on the verge on whacking Gredenko at some point

Palmer ordering the strike.

I guess Karen won't go up to bat for Wayne any more. The doctor has got to be regretting giving Palmer that extra shot as well.

Good to see that Tom finally grew a pair as well although I expected him to go public on the assasination attempt vs. what he did end up doing.

He DID lie about his involvement with the prior plot.

18. That's true re: Tom
Edited on Tue Apr-03-07 07:53 AM by Mike Daniels
Tom only seemed to turn against the initial plot when he perceived Wayne as valuing his opinions again.

In the matter of still unresolved threads....

I am curious as to how they're going to bring Pa Bauer back into the action since he appears to have disappeared into the wind.

Also, it seems Logan was only brought back so that he could get killed by Martha and thereby bring closure to his role in last season.

22. What was Gredenko's motivation? He was bleeding out and going into shock
but tried to escape on his own? Maybe he just wanted to die and had a last-minute revelation or something, but otherwise I have no idea what he wanted to accomplish. He would've been better off waiting in the bar for Jack to come, he would've gotten some medical attention then.

23. Given that Gredenko claimed to be the only one who could actually arm the weapons
Edited on Tue Apr-03-07 08:10 AM by Mike Daniels
his motiviation is interesting.

Given that Fayed is unlikely to give up any information on the whereabouts of the bombs perhaps Gredenko anticipated the US going with a nuclear strike in retaliation for the two prior attacks.

It was revealed early on that Gredenko was playing Fayed and company as patsies so that Russia could benefit from the ensuing war between the US and the Middle East.

20. The obvious message was that RWers have too much adrenalin
Note that the liberal president starts acting like a war-mongering RWer after head trauma, coma and too much adrenalin. Looks like this "conservative" show is sending an interesting message. :D
