Poll question: OK, so the college senior came home with an eye brow piercing |
|
She's a good kid and I'm not worried at all about her choices regarding drugs or sex. I should

2. Start buying her new jewelery for it all the time |
|
Then start asking her things like "How home I never see you wearing that nice ______________ ring for your eyebrow that I bought for you last month? I thought it looked great!!!"
She might just give it up as a bad idea.

My Mother is an importer/exporter and her apprentice has a nose ring and eyebrow piercing. I tend to think it's not a big deal anymore. Just make sure she takes care of it like she should.

7. It sounds like a problem that may take care of itself |
|
If you see it as a problem. She's a senior in college, so she'll either have to take it out to find a job, or get a job where it's not a problem. If she doesn't act out in really damaging, self-abusive ways like with addiction to chemicals, an eyebrow piercing seems like it shouldn't be a big deal unless it causes her problems with gainful employment, which I guess she'll confront when she graduates in a month or so. Congrats to you on raising a level headed kid, it's not easily done this day and age, I know.

12. I had none at the beginning of college. By the end... |
|
I had one in each lobe and one in the cartillage on the upper right ear. Today, eight years after graduating from college, I'm back to having none.
Point being, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
