Okay, it's a pretty gruesome copycat thread; but I couldn't resist. B-)

1. It could have been an accident

Here's how I see it -

The lady in question was in her kitchen dicing vegetables for a stir-fry when the phone rang right next to her, startling her and causing her to plunge the knife into her chest several times.

She flailed about for the phone, and as she fell, the cord wrapped around her neck.

With a mighty effort, she pulled the phone from the wall and with the cord still tightly wrapped around her esophagus, staggered toward the door, tripping over a hassock and causing a loaded shotgun to go off, blasting her in the face.

Blinded, she crawled out the door where she was mistaken for a burglar by the mailman who pummeled her with a stave from her picket fence.

With a final effort, she lunged to her feet and ran, straight out into the road where she was struck and killed by a delivery truck.

You see? Simple. :)
