OK - I want to bake some chocolate cookies, but also want to add |
|
a little coffee flavoring to the cookie dough or to the frosting. The cookies will be made from scratch, but alas, the frosting is store-bought. Can I add coffee (either already made, or fresh grounds) to either the cookie dough or the frosting to give it a hint of coffee flavoring?
Here's the cookie recipe ingredients:
4 squares unsweetened baking chocolate 3/4 c. butter 2 c. sugar 1 tsp vanilla 3 eggs 2 c. flour
Where would I add coffee, if possible?
Help appreciated! I only have 3 eggs in the house and don't want to f*ck up the batter by doing something stupid, 'cuz I also don't feel like going out the the store for more ingredients if I make a mistake... lazy I am.

1. I would add brewed coffee in place of whatever liquid |
|
the recipe calls for.
Starbucks Columbian preferably. :-)
