Most exotic/disgusting thing you've ever eaten on vacation?

Mine's easy--a roasted grasshopper. Years ago, on vacation in Oaxaca, Mexico, I was on a tour with a friend of mine when a local man approached us with a basket full of bugs.

The tour guide assured us they were a local delicacy, but we were all a bit squeamish. Finally, my friend said to the guide "I'll eat one if you do." Not to be outdone, I said to my friend "Yeah, and I'll eat one if YOU do."

So we all ate a grasshopper. It wasn't bad, if I remember--crunchy, but the spices were delicious!
