I never found him funny
But I'm not going to dance on his grave the way fundies did when Carl Sagan died.

3. I never knew he was from Endicott.
I always figured he was from the Bible Belt. I hope he found peace.

4. I always enjoyed The Wizard of Id
I hope Mr. Harte found what he was expecting in that "undiscovered country, from whose bourn no traveler returns."

5. I tend not to grave-dance at all. Not even when Reagan died.

8. 1977, I guess
In 1977 there was a distinguishable shift in Hart's spirituality, and Hart and wife Bobby began attending an evangelical congregation of the Presbyterian Church USA denomination in Nineveh, New York.

7. Ok, I feel very out of touch and sad.
I did not know that Carl Sagan had died. I first learn about space from him.

9. Actually Darwin was never a preacher.
Though he did study theology for a while, unsuccessfully. Tried to be a doctor, too, but couldn't handle the blood and barbaric surgical practices of the day. The trip on the Beagle was his "last chance" to make something of himself, and even that he almost didn't get to go on, because his father thought it was nonsense, except for the intervention of an influential uncle.

Just being nitpicky, don't mind me.
