5. Photo was taken a few hours after the collision, boat was drifting
I didn't take the pic but someone who borrowed my camera memory card did. I'm just glad he had his camera with him when they evacuated.

6. Maybe a lee shore.
Perhaps engine trouble prevented them from overcoming a wind that pushed them to shore. Just a guess.

18. True enough.
I read they were charging the ship's housekeeper with negligence along with the officers. Now, the captain and the officers, I can understand - but the housekeeper??!
