Cute dog alert

My friend sent me this pic of her dog. It reminds me of the story of Ferdinand the Bull...

He's so cute, it keeps me from KILLING the little son of bitch.

He woke up at 3am and whined until I had to get up for work at 5:15am.

Where's my goddam TASER?

Any idea what kind of flowers those are? They're beautiful.

4. Ladies & Gentlemen: I give you..... Nell

She's 17 years old, and the sweetest thing. She wants one thing in life: a loving lap to sit in.

(I'm not her human.... My sister is.)

They are so much cuter when they are allowed to get a bit wooly. And she looks so cute sniffing those flowers.

13. Some of the haircuts are absurd

I can understand cutting their hair back when it gets hot, for the sake of comfort. But beyond that, I really don't get it.

14. I remember hearing (on a dog show)
"the tufts on their bottom are for warmth" and all I could think was "if you didn't shave their butts, they wouldn't need the tufts!!!"

18. Australian Terrier
12 pounds of terror. She's not happy unless she's herding tennis balls. God forbid one rolls under the furniture...then there is no peace in the house until we retrieve it for her. She needs at least three in what ever room she's in and can carry two at a time.

27. I love poodles. :)
The one I had for 17 years was never "show-clipped," but I do think the show clips are cool. The clip dates back to the hunting tradition of the poodle (the breed's name comes from "puddle," because they were used to retrieve fallen birds from water) - designed to keep the heart and lungs warm while freeing up the legs for swimming. And the pom-pom on the tail? So the hunter could keep track of the dog. :)

I don't know that I would want to have to keep a poodle in show coat, though, not to mention the constant brushing. That's why I have a smooth-coated breed now!

32. Here's another cute dog (or so I've been told).

This is Moe. He is as great a dog as he looks, he MUST be within five feet of me at all times. His greatest pleasure is riding in the truck with me and intently watching the scenery. He insists on sleeping on the floor at the foot of my bed.

34. MY DOG SAM EATS PURPLE FLOWERS
that pic reminds me of the song Draggin' the Line:

My dog Sam eats purple flowers.
We ain't got much, but what we've got's ours.
We dig snow and the rain and the bright sunshine.
Draggin' the line (draggin the line).
