1. I love my Danskos!
I bought a pair a couple of years ago on the advice of a physical therapist (I was having knee problems) and I love them. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I'm on my feet all day and with most shoes, I end up with aching feet. With my Danskos, it's like getting an all day foot massage and they support my feet so well that my posture is better and I have fewer back and leg aches.

Love 'em! :bounce:

2. i hope i have the same experiences !!

I can already see how they improve your posture. They weren't cheap ($125) but I think it will be worth it. Thanks for responding!

4. Take good care of them and they'll last a decent amount of time
I use a leather cleaner and restorer that I bought at the same store. Keeps the leather supple so it doesn't crack.

I'm rough on shoes - I work retail and I often have to get down on my knees to reach lower shelves so I eventually wore a hole in the toe of one on my first pair. But they lasted me a couple of years and usually I need new shoes within 6 months or so.

5. not used to clogs...

I bought a kind of "oxford" shoe, and then something like a clog, I guess.

The arch support is like I've never felt before in a shoe. Seems like the support goes completely across the shoe, and not just in the "arch" area, which I think helps.

Thanks

6. Wearing a pair right now...very comfy
my sil turned me on to them. I like that they come in non-leather.

They are expensive but they fit well.

I'm happy and my fat feet are happy.

:)

7. My niece loves hers, heard about Danskos when she was working in restaurants
from other people who are on their feet a lot.
I first heard of them from surgeons and scrub nurses, who really liked them.
I'd like to get some with a back, rather than clogs.
