Poll question: If you could, would you?
Press a button and wipe out everybody's minds and introduce a new social order. One that's fair, balanced, accomodates everybody, and uses all who want to be a part of it, without bias to who or what the person is? One where even those who make it to the highest level give back selflessly?

2. How do I know I'm not taking the cure for AIDs or Cancer with it?
How do I justify blanking out great contributions in Art, Music and Literature?

3. we already have that

It's called Fox news, buddy. Ever heard of the No Spin Zone? It's a period of time set aside by Bill O'Reilly where consciousness is free of bias. It's all-accomodating, fair, balanced, and absolutely unafraid. I recommend you check it out, it's a pure slice of utopia.

5. Thanks for voting Yes!
If we try to conform, we become part of the problem.

Or do the No voters really want to lose their standard of living, which is what the wealthy are trying to do to us all?

6. You left out many options...
including my answer. No, because wiping people's minds takes away the opportunity for them to grow and reach "enlightenment" about things all on their own.

7. Actually, we conform THEN die.
Utopianism gives me the willies. I guess now that I'm old (ok, not that old - 41) I think more in terms of reform. Sorta sad really........
